PM Glazing Issue

Hello Purse Forum Fam, I've been away for a minute but back for some advice. I bought my PM October of 2018, Date Code is August 2018. I'm not rough on my bags, rotate it out fairly regularly etc. I just noticed this peeling glazing today and I'm not a happy camper! I will be taking it in to one of my local boutiques to see what they say, but I'm curious to see if this is still a recognized on going issue with this bag or am I SOL and should be prepared to pay for repair? I don't have a particular SA I work with and usually purchase online. Dallas area peeps...are their certain boutiques that are better to deal with for repairs over others?

This is a very common problem with this bag, just bring it in and as long as you are the original owner there are almost no stores that are difficult with offering credit.

That is such a bummer! Definitely a known issue.

Here’s my update: once the PM reached repairs they deemed it defective and not worth repairing lol. I got the call to come in and pick out something else. Finally got time to go in today and came home with these two!

South Bank Basace and a Monogram Shine Shawl...it was a crazy mad house lol, the boutique was like literally sold out bone dry it seemed! I’m happy with the end of the saga...while waiting I ended up buying a Coach Cassie which I actually like more than the PM so alls well that ends well!

(And yes that’s my Star Wars Darth Vader InstantPot in the background that just arrived today lol!)

The Black Pebbled Leather...it's an absolute dream, I love it! I really haven't missed the PM since I've had it, I like the interior on the Cassie better!

We're bag twins! I bought mine in July and I've carried it almost every day since!!! I can't get enough! I just ordered the PM in mono as well, should arrive on Monday.

So I'm actually thinking about ending my PM saga with a Cassie as well. I've bought and returned THREE brand new PMs due to different defects. Glazing issues, lock dents UNDER the protectors and a mis-sewn lining. I feel like if I order another and get another dud I will literally go nuts. Love hearing your testimonial for the Cassie. How does the interior differ since you say you like it more?

So I'm actually thinking about ending my PM saga with a Cassie as well. I've bought and returned THREE brand new PMs due to different defects. Glazing issues, lock dents UNDER the protectors and a mis-sewn lining. I feel like if I order another and get another dud I will literally go nuts. Love hearing your testimonial for the Cassie. How does the interior differ since you say you like it more?

The Cassie has the same 3 pockets as the PM but in the middle pocket has a slip pocket and zippered pocket as well.
