Hey Ladies,
Lately I was thinking of getting a new watch, when my fiance offered to get me a watch as my wedding gift (May 1st, 09)... I have 2 that I love... my question is ... what do you ladies know about Philip Stein watches? The watches that have 2 chips which they claim send earths natural vibes into your body, hence stopping the electromagnetic ones/techonological ones which are all around in every day life...?! I really want to beleive that these watched do that....I have searched the internet for reviews... my fiance is a natural skeptic... and I am slightly weary myself.... I just don't to choose my wedding watch... and then have it turn out to be something that I regret as a choice... what do you ladies think?
here is a link to the website:http://www.philipstein.com/home.html

Ah yes, my other choice was a simple Hermes watch, the H our 'regular' in a tan brown wrist band: http://usa.hermes.com/webapp/wcs/st...64&topCategoryId=48952&parentCategoryId=48957

I figured it safe to ask because I am sure that at least one of you lovely ladies has one... or know someone that does.

Thank you so much! All feed back welcome about the watches, negative or positive, I just want to get a general idea about them.
.at

Normally I would vote for Hermes but in this case, I like Philip Stein. One has a lot of choices regarding dials (with and w/o diamonds/ black or white) and straps (alligator, lizard, calf, ostrich, silk leathers.

I don't really know about the technology, I just like how it looks.

Best wishes to you!

Even though I do prefer the modern styles of Philip Stein, I am going to have to choose Hermes because I think it is the more classic option. It is a lot more timeless imo and I think that is something you can wear and enjoy for many years to come especially as it is going to be a wedding gift.

Very rare to see a bride with watch.... I prefer no watch at all!

I think the OP is referring to the watch as a wedding gift from her future husband but that doesn't necessarily mean that she will wear the watch on the day of their wedding. I bought a watch for my husband on our wedding day to wear with his tuxedo, but it turned out that the watch was too big and that the links had to be removed from the watch bracelet. Did not realize this as I wanted to surprise him with the watch. Oh well!! He still has the watch and wears it regularly!!

I would go with the Hermes watch!!

I thought about that when I read the tittle too, but now that I read the post I undertand she is getting a watch as a wedding present from her husband to be not a watch to wear during her wedding.

Congrats on your upcoming weeding OP :yahoo:

ps, I can't get the first link to work.. so I cant vote :p
