Pls help me choose Ysl Medium College or Gucci Marmont

hi anyone own any of these two bags?
I cant seems to decide between these 2 bags
Any opinions? Which one do you think would hold its value and stand the test of time in the next 10years?

Personally, I like the YSL much better. Not a fan of the Gucci. I don’t care for the logo so in your face. Just my opinion. Which would you prefer using?

I was having the exact same dilemna - I ended up going for the Gucci (though had to return due to flaws but am hoping for a replacement soon). In my opinion: I felt the YSL was more on the casual side, whereas the gucci was somewhere in the middle of casual/formal. Without a doubt though, both are beautiful bags. The current iteration of the GG is too 70s for my taste. I vote YSL.

I hope I am not too late with my vote but I definitely vote for the Marmont! (It has been my favorite go-to casual bag since I purchased it.) I love the YSL but personally have a lot of issues with the clasp mechanism on my YSL bag that makes it hard to close....

I think the chain on YSL is beautiful and I almost bought a bag at Heathrow recently for the chain and that logo of course. However I saw someone at my local mall the other day with a Porcelain Rose Marmont and gotta say I might have been converted. It's beautiful! A lot of rants online about YSL's poor quality too so my vote is for Gucci
