Pls help me choose: Cartier Ecrou ring or small Clash ring?

Hello Cartier lovers,

So I have been lusting over the Ecrou bracelet for quite a long time but the price tag kills me so I started looking into the ring since I am a ring person. I generally love to mix masculine with feminine pieces so I think it would be a great addition to my collection as I have a few VCA rings. However, I don't know if the Ecrou will be comfy to wear and id like to wear it daily so I'm not looking for a ring to be worn on special occasions only. I plan to wear it on my index finger. A second option is to buy a small Clash ring which I also like and find perfect for the index finger. I would appreciate any insights on those who have any of them on wearability, comfort, sizing, if they would repurchase, etc. In addition, I noticed that all my Cartier jewelry is in rose gold so I don't know if it's time to change a bit or stick to what I like. Which metal would you choose for any of those two rings? thank you!

I just tried on the ecrou ring last week and loved it! It's definitely going on my wish list. My husband wears the ecrou bracelet and while it is masculine, I also love it on myself too. The Clash line is cool but I think the ecrou line stands out as more unique.

thanks for taking the time to reply. How did you find the sizing? Will you be going for yellow gold or rose gold?

I just tried on whatever they had in case because I was in-store with my SA getting a piece serviced during closing time. It fit my ring finger but I have no idea what size it was! I would get yellow gold, as all my other Cartier pieces are yellow gold.

As a stand-alone ring, I like Ecrou. I think two clash (different metals) looks even better. Clash also pairs well with a diamond eternity band. Good luck!
