Please show me your 5-motif Vintage Alhambra bracelet on small wrists

I want to get the 5-motif Vintage Alhambra bracelet and went to the boutique to try it on today. While the size of the Alhambra clover works with my very small wrist, I’d have to get links removed to make it fit. I wear a size 15 in the Cartier Love bracelet (or size 14 in the Cartier JUC). VCA told me the smallest they can make the bracelet is 16 cm which I think is still a bit loose for my tiny wrist.

If you wear the same bracelet size as me in Cartier bracelets and have the Vintage Alhambra in size 16, can you pls post pics? I’d love to see how far down the 16 cm bracelet sits on your wrist?
Apparently they can shorten to 15 cm with special approval. Does anybody have a 15 cm Vintage Alhambra bracelets and can post pics please? That would be super helpful! Thanks so much!

I also wear 15 in Cartier love, my actual wrist size is a hair over 5” or 13 cm. Here’s a photo of me wearing 5 motif in 15 cm (8 links removed) & sweet 6 motif shorten to 15.5 cm. The 15 cm length doesn’t need special approval, at least not from my experience. If VCA removes 6 links it’ll be at 6.3”, which is bit too loose imo and result in uneven links between the motif. Naturally the 5 motif would fall right above where the sweet 6 motif sit, not as high up as it appear in this photo. Hope this help!

Thank you for the photo and details. This is very helpful. I think my wrist measures more 13.25 cm. So, very close to your wrist size.
I’ll need to go into the boutique again to ensure that they’re willing to shorten it to 15 cm for me Before I purchase the bracelet. Would you mind posting a pic of your Vintage bracelet with your arm down? I wonder how low the 15 cm will drop down. Thank you! :)

Ah sorry I don’t have the 5 motif on me now but here’s a demo on where it would naturally fall when my arm is down - where the red line is, slightly touching the edge of my palm which is what I prefer since I wash my hands a lot & I don’t want the bracelet to fall too low getting splashed on. Hope this help!

Thank you! This is very helpful and the perfect length. That’s where I’d like mine to drop down to as well. :)
Btw, the Vintage size stacks so well with the Sweet size bracelet.

You're welcome! Yes, definitely confirm with your SA on the 15 cm length. Even my SA didn't think it's within the standard request and said it may require additional charge to get it to that length, but he confirmed with the SM that it's shortest length they can offer and no special approval/additional charge needed. :smile:

I wear the Cartier love in 15 and have my VCA 5 motif shortened to 16cm. I actually think 16 sits better for the VCA bracelet - there is slight room for the bracelet to move and imo the movement is beautiful. I feel like 15 would be too tight for this style, where 15cm as a bangle type love bracelet fits better. VCA has demo bracelets in the various lengths (16/17/18) that you can try on to get a better feel.

My SA said that I shouldn’t have to shortened too tightly as it will get uncomfortable to wear. I tried on the 16 cm sample bracelet and found it dropping too far down. Can you share a picture of how the 16 cm looks on you with your arm down?

It would be ridiculous if the charge more for removing more links. It’s the same amount of work, whether it’s 15 or 16 cm. Lol. Glad they didn’t charge you extra though.

You mean, since my Love bracelet is a 15, the VCA bracelet in the same size should fit well? I have yet to try on the 15 cm sample but I don’t think my boutique has a 15 cm sample. Only a 16 cm which I felt was too big on me. Hence, I’m posting on here, wondering what a 15 cm VCA looks like on others who wear a size 15 Love bracelet.
