This. It's tough managing buyer expectations on eBay. I see plenty of listings that say "excellent condition" or "as new condition" that are clearly not so. I always scrutinize my bags for before listing, and will overstate and highlight any faults.
Having said that, I think that OP's buyer might just have just had a change of mind. From the pictures above, the bag is in pretty good used condition for a patent Chanel flap. It all depends on how much the buyer paid though, which will certainly have had an influence on their expectations on condition.
