Can’t help with this. The colour is Tan, as indicated on the tag and it’s close to 30 years old.

It’s a Medium Veneta in Lilac from fall/winter 2009
There used to be a thread on restoring and/or maintenance of BV a bags but I don’t know what happened to it.
@indiaink or @grietje might have some advice though.
