Hello lovlies,

I am always so undecided and always appreciate ALL the help and opinions I can get. I finally think I have decided to get the POOCHETTE METIS .. I did in fact last year get the Celine belt bag over the Metis- but since have still wanted it. I now cannot decide ON COLOR OR MATERIAL..

So I am wanting the double zip poochette also ( I have a Felice gold chain I can use for it if I don't go with the black empriente leather)

So here are what my options currently are I want the 1. ) Pochette Metis ( I think I want the black emprienete leather in this , but curious if you think the reverse monogram is better option?) or if you guys have any other ideas that may be suitable or similar.

2nd the double zip poochette would you go with the reverse monogram or also the black empriente leather

Or if you guys have other suggestions I am always open. I plan on using the double zip with a chain to for concerts and date nights. I had a Felicie I didnt love it to me was annoying open close I sold it but did keep the chain which I actually use a lot on other bags.

I first got the Pm in reverse monogram. I was obsessed with it. But I found it difficult to match with my outfits, and I have a pretty basic wardrobe. After 6 months there were glazing issues and I was offered either store credit or a replacement. I chose store credit and got the regular monogram instead. I find the mono SO much easier to match and just enjoy the look more.

Fast forward 2 years and I added the noie empreinte to my collection. I love them both, but if I had to keep only on I would choose the empreinte noir. It goes with everything, can be dressed up or down, and you won’t panic if you get caught in the rain.

I’ve never pulled the trigger on the double zip because I’m waiting for a non giant mono version to come out. I also worry it may be too small for me.

I got my PM in empreinte noir last October, and it’s quickly become my carefree bag for day time use. It’s lightweight, versatile, spacious, and the empreinte in black is much more discreet than the reverse or mono (which I personally think is a good thing).

You can't go wrong with either Pochette Metis. I chose the reverse monogram over the regular monogram because I just like how it stands out and is different. I haven't found it difficult to match but I also wear a lot of neutral colors awhite/cream tops. Black empreinte is also classic and discrete. I am considering the PM E/W in black empreinte.

I like the double zip, but I think it would be too small for my daily use. Go try on the bag and see which one speaks to you more.

I got the reverse mono DZP about 12 months ago. It is the perfect grab and go bag if you only carry small flat items eg. phone, key holder, card holder etc. I absolutely love it but haven’t used it much in the summer because I like to carry sunglasses and they make the DZP bulge too much.
Initially, I thought the giant reverse side was way too loud and planned to use it with just the regular mono side showing but I fell in love with the reverse mono so much so that I ended up purchasing the reverse Pochette Metis on the strength of it! I’m now a total reverse convert.
I considered the DZP in black empreinte but the one I looked at in store wasn’t quite symmetrical and somehow didn’t look quite dressy enough for a small black bag despite the fact that it comes with a chain strap. I think the DZP is quite a casual bag - it feels like a cross between a WOC and a pouch. I would consider the Celine WOC or the PM E/W if I were in the market for a black mini bag.
The PM is the bigger cost outlay so get the one that you love the most and it sounds like that is the black empreinte? If so, then the reverse DZP would be a logical addition (but I am biased because I love that little bag so much). Also, the reverse DZP comes with a black leather strap so you’ve got scope to change the look a bit with your chain strap.

100% the empreinte noir pochette metis! I've had mine for around 5 years and it's become my everyday bag. It's my most favourite bag.

It's been through rain, snow, fallen off my passenger seat onto a dirty truck floor, fallen on pavement in a parking lot, scraped against a brick wall and it's still gorgeous and still looks amazing.

If you're getting the DZP, get that in the reverse so you have the best of both worlds.

Oh thank you I agree I think black is what I will go with. I also agree I am not sure I love the BIG monogram. you're right I just wish they had maybe more options in colors. I like the black in that as well but wish it came with the same strap as the reverse. I just like how its carefree. I have the poochette accessesoires and I love it so I feel the double is good to dress up, and when travelling it fits in the Metis- also was looking at the multiple poochette in black omgosh I hate all the choosing hehe

I like you're thinking, and helping me choose I think I will do what you stated above HAHA! Also now looking at the multi poochette- not sure why I love all the poochettes so much.

You are the best! I really appreciate this. Sometimes I just need pointed in right direction. I agree with you I think I will follow your advise - funny to I was in Celine and did really love their WOC as well. I guess I need to add THREE now. Thank you so much for your insight really helpful and I appreciate it. I cannot justify the PM E/W when you can get the PM for almost the same cost. I have a poochette accessoires in DA and I love this little bag, so I do know I would love the double zip. I don't carry much accept for when I do travel. But for sure now going to put the Celine on my list as well. :facepalm:

Yes the only chain strap for the black double zip bothers me too!!!

I agree why I like the black for sure. Glad to here I hope to use it as an everyday bag as well
