Haven't actually gotten my xmas gift yet but I have a 3k budget - I'm considering: Cartier, VCA, Chanel, or maybe a tennis bracelet? Any ideas? Opinions? I'd do a poll but I don't have particular items in mind.

Maybe a necklace form Cartier or VCA? Watch? Bvlgari?

I have a cartier love bracelet. I want a white gold with diamonds but it feels a little excessive. And as for a tennis bracelet, I'd go for 2 - 3 ctw so I can stack it with my love bracelet. I've looked and you can definitely get something for 3k from bluenile or whiteflash. But I don't know which vendor would be better... :\

I wanted the holiday necklace from cartier but it's completely sold out nation wide, ridiculous. And now, I'm kindof lost. I've considered watches too but idk.

Any other ideas? :(

$3K budget gives you lots of options but it all depends on what you want (a necklace, bracelet, ring, watch??) and what you will wear regularly. No point buying jewellery and stashing it in the drawer.

Sorry for going OT, but did you get this info from the boutique or customer service at Cartier's 800 number? My NM SA charged my card for the holiday bracelet more than a month ago but he keeps saying he is still waiting for it to come in.

I checked the Cartier website and it looks the holiday bracelet is still available online.

The SA told me. I went to South Coast Plaza the day before xmas to buy it and she said it's completely gone and that each boutique only got like one or two of the collection - like they only got one of the necklaces. She doesn't know if they're getting more but she's not hopeful because if they did, they'd have to like get it from overseas location aka Europe or Asia. But yeah, so as of now - completely sold out nationwide.

But yeah, I have the trinity ring and a love necklace too that I wear often. I guess there's nothing in particular I really want but I almost feel like if I dont buy now, the prices will just go up and I'll get ripped off later or something. Are there any particular pieces you guys are eyeing? I considered the "oui" necklace by Dior but I feel like a guy should buy me that. :(

^^ Thanks Claudia for the info! Maybe it's time for me to ask for a refund...

Does your $3K budget include tax? I love Cartier but I also like some of the pieces from Chanel fine jewelry such as the Camelia and Ultra lines. I saw a Camelia bracelet with diamonds that is just under $2K before tax that may go nicely with you Love bracelet.

You can always try buying on the e-bay site, I have seen some great deals on chanel,Cartier or van cleef & arpels, in fact many people on the purse forum sell ther jewels on this site-

Enjoy the range of pre owned Im sure you will find something suitable for your budget there
