I wanted to get my fiance a nice watch for Christmas. He narrowed it down to an ESQ by Movado Beacon style.. but can't decide between the black or silver.
Personally, I think the silver would go with more and he'd still like it 5-10 years from now. His preference is the black. I'm just scared he wont like it down the road bc it's too "trendy". I offered to get him a cheaper all black watch so he could alternate if he wanted. These watches aren't exactly cheap so I want to make a good investment. There's a $100 price increase from silver to black.
I guess down the line the black watch could be replaced with a silver band bc the face is almost the exact same. I also feel like it's his choice 100% so I should just go with the black... Thoughts?? Thanks in advance!
