So excited for you! Welcome to the club! It will somewhat depend on how long you are willing to wait. The 6 motif has a very long waitlist, and I believe in some countries the waitlist might even be closed. The agate pendant is readily available. I would really take some time and decide what metal types look best on you and with your wardrobe and think to the future a bit on what would be the second piece you’d want too. VCA is so addictive and you can curtail expensive mistakes by thinking ahead on what your future self might want too and how it goes with your current jewelry collection. Best of luck and let us know what you pick!

Vca is hands down my favourite luxury jewellery brand! It's definitely addictive so be wise with your choices, unless there's free flowing money... in that case, go nuts 😅
The two pieces you are deciding between are so different, it's like apples and oranges. So lets narrow down to your choice of metal (do you like to mix metals or is there one particular one that suits your skin and touches your heart?), collection (alhambra in your case - that's easy!), stone vs solid gold (think about how often you'll be wearing the piece and whether or not there's one colour that you truly adore and will not fall out of love with? Is blue that colour?), bracelet vs necklace (which one do you tend to wear more of? I ALWAYS prefer earrings and guilloche vintage earrings were my first purchase! Still my favourite purchase so far) and most importantly, time (when do you want to buy it? Are you happy to wait? 6 motif is hard to come by - not impossible, so don't compromise and buy something else if hammered is what you really want! But do keep in mind, the price might soar by the time you are offered 6 motif bracelet).
Good luck and I hope this helps!

Totally agree with previous comments! Also I would say it's better to go there and try these pieces (BTW it will probably be almost impossible to find anything with hammered gold in stock, sometimes you have to wait for them for many months and make a deposit for it). But my advise is:

Try different bracelets, stones, pendants to see which is best for you. When I made my first purchase - I came for a completely different product but I couldn't leave without a bracelet with 5 motifs onyx... It was like "IT'S MINE! I feel it!" (but I certainly wouldn't have chosen it for myself based on the picture)

So it's always better to try. You can plan one thing based on pictures on the Internet and fall in love with a completely different product 😍 Anyway wish you good luck and main thing - GET FUN and get this pleasant experience no matter what you will choose after)

I fully agree with this comment. I can’t explain it but some stones resonate with you and some do not. My first time in boutique I was confident I would get a turquoise two butterfly pendant and when I tried it on, it felt like it was jumping off my skin. I also had no resonance with tigers eye. It sounds crazy but it’s true. I don’t have any problem with gold and diamonds though.

That is so true!! Totally agree. I originally went into the boutique to purchase MOP vintage alhambra earrings and SA just made a polite suggestion to consider the guilloche earrings in yellow gold. Though it was not available in the boutique, he showed me a 5 motif bracelet in guilloche just so I can get a feel of the style... Boy, I was blown away! Few days later I came back into the store to place a deposit on it. My SA informed me of the long waiting list, but to my surprise my request my fulfilled within a month.

I would buy whatever piece I could stare at while wearing. That would exclude necklaces and earrings. Getting to see it all the time will make you fall in love and appreciate VCA’s craftsmanship even more. Secondly I would choose what moves you, what you honestly love. Even if it ends up being a more expensive piece, save until you have the funds. Start out right by not compromising.

It depends on wether you're a necklace or a bracelet kind of girl. I personally only wear bracelets when I go to special events so spending $5K on a 5 motif is not worth it for me. I do wear my necklaces every day, regardless of what I'm wearing or where I'm going so that for me is worth spending on.
Good luck and do update us on what you decided on!

Personally, I would go for the bracelet first. The hammered gold is carefree, easy to take care of, and you will be able to enjoy seeing it on your wrist whenever you wear it!

However, others have correctly pointed out that all hammered pieces (including the 6 motif bracelet) have a big backlog and can be slow to get. That is why these bracelets have such a big markup on the resale sites (ie Fashionphile) if they do turn up online. They are not easy to come by at the moment, and some people have gone the secondary market route to scratch that itch. (With so many fakes out there, though, buying direct from the boutique is the safest bet. Also, that gives you the option for complimentary resizing on the bracelet when it is new to have the right fit.)

I agree with others that you should visit a boutique and try some different things on. See what appeals to you in person!

I am in the minority but I vote for the blue agate pendant. I never thought I would even like blue but once I tried this pendant on I was IN LOVE! I think it stands out even more if you happen to have blue or green eyes. And Blue agate is fairly durable, obviously not as much as solid gold, but enough so that it could be an everyday piece. I've barely taken it off for the past 3 months since I got it.
