Please help! Patent leather discoloration

So upset! I just looked at my 08 gray patent leather jumbo flap bag and noticed it’s turned into a bronze like green shade if that makes any sense. Has this ever happened to anyone else? Do you think the Chanel store can do anything for me? Sorry for the terrible pics. The sun’s gone down and I have bad lighting in my place. You can really see the difference when the flap is open.

Patent will turn yellow after some time. Nothing can be done except to dye it black.

You might want to try to bring it in to Chanel and see what they can do for you. Good luck!!

Oooph, this is a problem that patent leather is known to have? Since it's older than 5 years old, Chanel wouldn't refurbish it right?

You cannot refurbish patent leather.

The only thing that can help is to use Saphir vernis rife to maintain your patent bag in order to prevent cracking and discolouring.
