I think the gold hardware of the straps is starting to rust or has some sort of orangey spots to it. Anyone knows if the hardware is metal or plastic because I can’t tell. Anyone have any solutions on how to wipe it away…

It’s metal, I had some studs on a Balenciaga bag that once had some tarnishing on it and I managed to remove it with a tiny bit of toothpaste on a cotton bud and then buffed it off with a dry cloth and it removed it completely. HTH
