I have this turquoise pendant and would love to find a pair of earrings to match. Here are my choices:

1. Sweet Turquoise Alhambra
2. Sweet white gold MOP
3. Mini frivole white gold

Which one will you guys pick and why? If pendant and earrings are in turquoise color, will they look too matchy matchy? Thank you so much!
Thanks!

My vote is for the frivole. They coordinate nicely and the frivole would also go well with other necklaces. In my opinion turquoise on your neck and ears would be a bit much.

Editing my answer to say the alhambra because the beading would coordinate better with that necklace than the frivole. Still stand by my opinion about the turquoise though!

By themselves, I like the frivole earrings best, but they don't speak to the necklace at all, so since you are looking for something to coordinate with the necklace, I have to recommend the alhambra, which has the beaded edge to match the necklace. Whether you get the white or turquoise, I think depends on how and where you intend to wear them.

If you will wear them at work and want the focus to be on your face, then the matching turquoise alhambra will be most effective for that. Having a matching necklace and earring set in a strong color like turquoise, creates a visual triangle that keeps the eye focused on the face. A matching set is also usually considered more formal than casual.

However, if you are wearing this casually and/or want the focus to be on the whole outfit, then I would choose the white alhambra earrings. They coordinate with the necklace without being too matchy-matchy. The visual triangle that I mention above can be a bad thing if you want the eye to take in the outfit as a whole, rather than stay caught on the face. It can create the sensation that the head is separated from the rest of the outfit. When the colors don't match, they don't keep referencing each other, so your eye, rather than getting caught in that color loop, is allowed to drop down and can focus on the overall outfit as a whole.

The mother of pearl earrings will match almost anything, with or without the necklace. White is usually more versatile than turquoise for most wardrobes.

For the specific top you are wearing in the photo above, I would absolutely choose the white alhambra earrings. They would give a casual yet coordinated look that would match the casual style of the shirt. Matching earrings and necklace would look too formal for that top (to my eyes). It wouldn't really look right and would really chop the head from the outfit, especially given the shape of the neckline.

Let us know what you pick! :)

Originally I was thinking about sweet white alhambra because of the versatility to coordinate with more outfits. However, after seeing the votes I think now I will either go with Sweet turquoise or Frivole. I like the pop of color on sweet turquoise and also will make the whole look more formal. For Frivole, I like that it's more carefree and I can wear 24/7 so it seems more practical! Thank you again for all your votes and feedbacks, they are really helpful for me to make my choice!:smile::heart:

I have the necklace too and was looking for a matching earring because the ones from the set are a bit heavy/protruding in a way that I didn’t like plus the turquoise on my ears was a bit too much.
I considered the WG pave couleurs but for this price point I would buy a different item.
Now I’m planning on trying it with:
Boucheron boheme pave studs or WG guillouche both would look nice IMO.

If you have a chance please post your pics after you are trying them on! I would like to see how they look together too. Thanks!!

I think of turquoise as a fun colorful summer look, so for me, I would stay with that theme. I would get the Sweet Turquoise earrings to add more color. I do not think it's too much at all, but rather, I think it ties the set together quite nicely.

I do not think Frivole matches at all. Forget the VCA name and look at the pieces for its design.
Think if these two pieces were no-name brands, something at Macy's. Ask yourself if you would wear a "dot" turquoise pendant with "flower" earrings. It's a no for me.

For what it's worth, I have a Tiffany Turquoise CBTY set... earrings, long necklace, turquoise ring, etc... I pile on the color and love how fresh it looks.

I vote turquoise sweets. That's just me. I hope this helps. Good luck in your decision.

Is it just me or does the shade of turquoise look really different on the alhambra vs the circles? I don't know if it's like this in person or just the website, but if they are that different in person, that would be a consideration I would think.
