Hi Everyone, please kindly help me pick which size Cartier Panthere watch to get?

Due to lockdown, I am unable to get into a store to try.

For those who has tried on both sizes, can you please share your thoughts on each size.

Thanking everyone in advance

i have not tried these on to compare (although my first Cartier watch was a small Panthere) BUT I will say that these 63 year old eyes would prefer the small over the mini.
I also think that overly small and overly large watch faces may look dated over time, so my vote would be for the small, if you’re planning on it being a forever piece.

I bought the mini at Cartier online, in stainless steel, and it was tiny...had to return the watch! As soon as I could, I went to the boutique and bought the small, which is very elegant. I have a 16 cm wrist. I am very happy with the small size!

Hi Tatownz, congrats on your purchase! Which metal did you get? I got this watch last year, ss with diamonds in small. Such a stunning piece!!

Hi vcaalhambra,

I ordered the small YG from an AD. They didn't have it in stock so they have placed an order for me, ETA approximately 12 weeks

In the meantime, I have been coming online to admire everyones beautiful pieces and collection.

I actually had this watch in the two tone, but I recently sold it cause deep down, I love the YG version. At the time when I bought the TT, it wasnt like I settled but I honestly did like the look of the TT but over time, everytime I saw someone with the YG version on instagram, in movies and online, a little part of me regret not getting the YG.

Over the years, I have been wanting to add more cartier pieces to my collection but I realised I was trying to fill the void of not having the watch in YG.

So one night, I thought stuff it! I'm getting it in YG!

This piece will complete my collection (I currently have the regular love and small pave love which I wear everyday and don't take it off).

I plan on wearing this watch on my right arm as both bracelets are on my left.

Hi Tatownz,
Congrats with getting YG! Did you get plain or with diamonds? Actually all of them are so beautiful and it is very hard to choose especially the first time around. I may plan on getting YG too in the future as my other watches are in SS with diamonds and I recently started collecting YG pieces including Love Bracelet and trinity ring. This watch is amazing! So elegant and timeless!

Also, very curious to know, have you tried YG before in person? I tried it on and it seemed very heavy, way heavier than my stainless steel watches. Some people say that it is very fast to get used to it. I'm curious to know your opinion. It is definitely a masterpiece! Such a classic piece, so glad they re-released in in 2017 (original design was in 1983).

I went with the plain one without diamonds, as I have a Small Pave Love in YG

Yes I have previously tried the YG in store. Picture attached

I do plan on wearing it on the other hand (not with my loves) so hopefully weight wise, it's not an issue.
