(if you don't want to read the whole thing--basically I can only have one: pre-owned Prada that can be used professionally, or full-priced Celine for now).
I recently bought the Prada BN2274 in Camel off Yoogi's Closet. I don't think I would use it day to day because I still attend classes as a student, but I had a 10% off coupon and I felt like I would be losing out if I didn't purchase it. (does that ever happen to anyone?!). It's a beautiful bag, but I think most if its use will be after I graduate. I would still use it on weekends, but I mainly bought it for future use; I am just scared of not finding it at this price again.
However, of course I had to stop by Neiman Marcus today and of course I had to walk by Celine and of course the SA was super nice and let me try on a Trapeze
. And it was LOVE. It is just a stunning bag. It would cost more than the Prada but now I'm thinking of returning the Prada and saving (a long time) for the Celine? Again, I don't know how much use I would get out of it since I'm mostly in class or in the library. It seems a little silly to spend so much on a bag that I won't use much now and potentially may not use in the future either.
Which do you prefer on me? I feel like the Prada has more lasting power, and especially when I graduate it would be used much more than the Celine. Plus the price difference is pretty steep. But the Celine...
