The question says it all lately.
I have sold all my minis and am ready to bite the bullet and accept the price tag for the last time…

I am now left with:

- black caviar jumbo, silver hw
- black lambskin square mini, champagne hw

- LV monogram speedy
- black velvet Gucci marmont
- tan Celine triomphe bucket bag

I LOVE pink, it makes my heart sing but my head says beige because of the history behind chanel and beige, and resale value let’s be honest (my husband brings home our bacon and you never know what could happen).

Planning on moving on to Hermes next (in quite some time, would like a TPM Éveline in chai or étoupe and can only dream of a mini Kelly) UNLESS chanel appoint a new creative director.

Here are the two contenders (I’d be getting a medium, second picture is from IG as my SA has asked for a transfer but the bag hasn’t arrived in Paris yet) :

I instantly fell in love woth the rosè one, but to give you advice, I'd need more intel on your complexion your normal wardrobe etc., too.
Thank you so much for your input - I am white with blonde hair/highlights. I am a stay at home mom at present but I will be going back to work next year. I wear mostly jeans/T-shirts/sneakers but I love dressing up with floral dresses. Either the beige or pink would work with what I have as my favorite colors are grey, blue, camel. I am just very boring haha

Yeah, I was thinking that too! I’m scared of looking like an older lady trying to look like a schoolgirl with the pink, if that makes sense (I’m 42)
I’m older than you and have several pink bags. I have definitely never been accused of looking like a schoolgirl

I don’t look to far into resell value but I can tell you light pink bags go for a good price. Sometimes more than beige.

Maybe unpopular opinion here, I find beige clair to be quite unflattering on many people (including myself) and hard to match with the outfits. I wear mostly neutrals and get ton of uses out of my B25 in rose sakura. And when I'm in a mood for a light neutral color bag, I'd reach for a white/ivory bag before beige. So my vote would be the pink CF

A b25 in Rose Sakura sounds so dreamy…

I guess I’m saying that from a French viewpoint: no one carries chanel where I live, the closest would be Paris which we quite often go to for fun and shopping - and in Paris, the women who are into luxury or trends are very about the whole minimalistic thing, a lot of beiges, greige, black, white… those would definitely call me a schoolgirl. But to hell with them haha
