Hello ladies,


I bought the vanilla jet set gathered tote (first pic) only to now think maybe I should have gotten the Marina in vanilla. I'm not sure if I like the leather all the way around or the silky rope. Heck I really am not sure if I want the vanilla or the brown in either one!


I couldn't get the vanilla marina to let me upload. That is why you see the brown but hopefully you will get the idea. I've also attached a link so you can see the vanilla if you need to.

Should I exchange it? Do we like leather or rope and brown or vanilla? I'm so confused....

I just ordered the same one you got! I didn't see the silky rope in person, but I definitely prefer the leather because I think it has a more classic look. The silky rope looks a little nautical to me. What did you decide to do?

I too, just bought the brown with the leather rope before noticing the Marina - I like the look of the Marina better but just not sure how it will hold up. I am thinking the Vanilla Marina will be a nice additional summer item later on.

I like the brown logo, that's next on my wish list as I have other vanilla logo bags and need a brown.

Thank you! Ok, let me add more to the question. I have a lot of brown LV (not that that it's ever too much brown) so if you had a lot of brown monogram LV would you still like the brown one too?


I still can't decide.......

yeah that's true its never too much to have any colors.... but my opinion is that if you think you have too much browns then you should go for the vanilla... great color for the spring and summer. :sunshine:
My friend Sarah at work says she likes the Vanilla she says it's cute....

As someone who normally favors brown and does not own a white/vanilla bag I actually like this style in the vanilla better then the brown. It is a springy/ summer bag and the vanilla just seems to go better.

The biggest difference which will probably make the decision for you is that the "gathered tote" with the all leather cord going through the bag has the typical MK functional interior, with all the pockets and such, while the Marina with the rope cord going through the bag has NO POCKETS, only a removable wristlet/pochette in matching MK monogram, the interior of the Marina with the rope is one open bucket-style bag.
