Hi VCA lovers,
I recently fall deep into winter flowers collection and totally hooked onto Frivole earrings!

I need help in deciding since I am nowhere close or near a store and have only my SA to advice.
I have spend tons of research time in every single post/thread and I still could not decide!
I welcome pics and your thoughts to enlighten me....

I love the yg frivole between the finger ring and that totally rocks.
Then I decided to get the earring first, should I go for pink pave or yg???????????
I love the look of the yg. minimalist and cool,
however, my SA told me that I will look back and regret not getting the diamonds as I aged. Im in my mid 30s.
So I am thinking if I really should get the pave instead?????????????

I mean it’s a huge price difference, so if price is not major concern then pave of course! As far as metal I would choose yellow gold.... I think rose gold pave does not show sparkle of diamonds as much as white gold then yellow gold.

I got the pink gold from what I understand it’s sold out. The pink sapphire in the middle reflects off the diamonds making it look pink all over. It’s beautiful

I think a good many people who love Frivole have both shiny gold and pave earrings. I couldn't wear the pave on a daily basis because my lifestyle is extremely casual. So I would get far more wear with the shiny gold ones. I recently tried on the small plain gold ones and found them kind of underwhelming, so someday I'd like to try on the large in the yellow gold.

I consider the pave Frivole to be absolutely gorgeous but certainly not as casual as the shiny ones. Whether to get pink gold or yellow gold pave depends on a few factors. If one is going to have an extensive collection of VCA, then I can see having sets in all three metals. But I am leaning towards mostly white gold and some yellow gold for myself. It already bothers me a little when my purse hardware is a different metal color than my jewelry. I don't want to wear pink gold jewelry with yellow gold purse hardware. I do think white metal hardware works better with pink gold, though. Many people may not care about matching, and a lot of the time I can't because most of my purses have yellow metal hardware and I wear mostly white metals in jewelry. (Yes, I need to buy more purses with white metal hardware!) It just causes me to also think about what clothes I could wear with pink gold, and I have far more things to wear with wg or yg than pg. That said, the pg pave Frivole with the pink sapphire center is gorgeous, and if I could have unlimited VCA, I'd certainly have that set! I'd personally get the wg pave Frivole earrings, though.

Thank you all !!!
My lifestyle is definitely causal as well, but I want to see myself using it daily if I get the mirror yg or pave frivole. I dont see a need to get both. Just one to settle for frivole small earring ~
I see 75% to 25% leaning to yg!
maybe I should get the yg and get something pave next ~

I think in the pave version the flower idea is lost - but the exception would be the pink sapphire frivole - its gorgeous. I think this would pair beautifully with the yg ring.

But I think the yg is the version that marks your heart sing - that's what captured you first, so I would stick with it.

I have the pink gold/pink sapphire earrings and I wear them daily. Literally almost every day. And my lifestyle is the definition of casual, so I absolutely do not think these earrings are too blingy for daily wear. Perhaps the white gold pave version would be more blingy (I don’t know, I don’t have any white gold pave earrings), but something about the pink gold and the pink sapphire really “tones” the earrings down. I also have the yellow gold mini version, but I rarely wear these - I only tend to pair them with some of my yellow gold jewelry.

I would 100% say to get the pave earrings first, and if you find that you are still longing for the yellow gold version, then add them down the road. I also think it tends to be better (although more difficult) to save for the more expensive pieces on your wishlist, and then add the less expensive pieces later.
