My lovely fiancé offered to gift me a piece off my wishlist to celebrate our recent engagement! Please help me choose!

I've had my eye on the panthere watch (all stainless steel version) for awhile, but have always hesitated due to it being a quartz watch. I've also had a diamond bangle on my wishlist for a long time to stack with my other bracelets (regular love, sm love, sm JUC, regular JUC). Most of my bangles are plain YG versions aside from the sm JUC, so I thought a diamond bangle might add a nice touch of sparkle when stacking with different combinations.

I guess I'm debating because the panthere is very different from my other pieces in white metal tone and as a watch. I have other watches, but none are as dainty and "bracelet" like as the panthere. However, I've also wanted a diamond bangle for longer...

I think both are beautiful options, but it just comes down to personal preference. Do you wear a watch everyday? Do you think you’d use the panthere more often than you’d use the diamond bangle to stack with your other bracelets? Or would the bangle get more wear time? From your post, it sounds like you’ve been wanting the diamond bangle for a while now and would really like to add it to your collection. If your bangles are all YG, the diamond bangle can add a little bit of brightness to your stack that’ll compliment a SS watch when the time comes. To my eye, solid yellow gold next to stainless steel appears very stark in contrast… I think diamonds (or any stones for that matter) help to soften that contrast.

Congratulations on your engagement!

I vote for the diamond bangle. As @pinkmilq says, it's very wearable with other jewellery. But, also, on it's own it will look lovely and therefore is very versatile.

You mention that you have always hesitated over the watch because it's quartz so perhaps it's better to wait for a watch that is more suitable for you?

As always, it's best to try each item on in the way you would envision wearing them and I think you'll find your answer then.

We look forward to seeing your final choice!

Agree with others above that it is definitely a preference of watch vs bracelet. Also agree, best to try on in person.

As a person who owns a Panthere watch (Medium TT) and who wanted a diamond tennis bracelet for a long time but finally decided to not get one here was my reasoning/thoughts:

- I prefer watches over jewelry. (though jewelry definitely over bags).
- While the price is definitely much for a quartz watch and I understand the sentiment of quartz vs automatic... I enjoy the ease and convenience of a quartz watch over my automatics. I don't have to remind myself to wind it, I don't have to change dates (especially at the end of the month, 28 vs 29, vs 30, vs 31).
- Panthere watch is very very comfortable. I wear it daily and pretty much stopped wearing my other watches. (sad for my watch collection but now I don't feel the want to buy more watches.)
- Full diamond tennis bracelet will probably scratch up my gold bracelets more that I prefer. I'm not too fussy on wear and tear of metal to metal. But for some reason (maybe it's the hardness of the diamonds), I don't like the thought of multiple diamonds scratching my gold bangles. However, having said that, I see that you said diamond bangle, so depending on how the diamonds are set, that is probably not an issue for you.

Honestly, both fantastic choices and you can't go wrong with either one! :tup:Congratulations on your engagement and upcoming nuptials! :yahoo:Also look forward to what you end up deciding on.
