Hi ladies, help please.
I'm going to a wedding in late August and I'm going to wear a dress by Karen Millen that is dove grey with silver lace overlay. ImageUploadedByPurseForum1433778712.720903.jpgImageUploadedByPurseForum1433778722.404774.jpg
I intend to get a Jimmy Choo sandal to wear not only with this dress but on other occasions too so I do not want anything too staid or formal.
I've badly broken my leg so even by the time of the wedding I'll not be able to wear my usual Choos which are 100 mm upwards. Which is why I need a mid heel height sandal such as Louise, Ivette or Lila.
I have to order them online as I am a size 34.5 and live too far away from any Jimmy Choo stores, so any advice on how comfortable they are and easy to walk in would help me to decide. Thank in advance :smile1:

It would be helpful if you posted pics of these so we can see them together...I would love to help you ;) Love that dress!!!

I just looked on jimmychoo.com and I can't find Lila. I like Ivette over Louise as far as style goes, but louise comes in pretty colors...

Thanks, here are the shoes I'm trying to decide about :smile1:

I'm going to carry my Mulberry Lily ImageUploadedByPurseForum1433842320.664789.jpg
I know the pink Rockstuds would accent this bag perfectly but then I'd be slightly tied about what I could wear them with in future. Decisions, decisions :giggles:

Personally, I don't like to match shoes to bag but the valentinos are pretty. My preference with the dress and bag is the CL's or the second Choos. The CL's have a lower heel and could be worn with almost anything...even jeans!

I love these CLs and their heel height is perfect, the only thing putting me off is the red sole. CLs ubiquitous red sole is gorgeous but it's just too ostentatious for me to wear at a wedding on my DHs side of the family. They're rather conservative and whilst I'm certain some other guests will be wearing CLs I don't want some of his relatives gossiping about my spending so much money on shoes. That's the only thing about CL, they're not discreet, if you could get them without a red sole I would in a heartbeat.

No getting around that red sole :p

The Jimmy Choo sale got me :giggles:
I had become set on getting a pair of Valentino Rockstud 65 in nude but then I couldn't get them in my size. So with the JC sale I was able to get both a low heel that will be able to wear to the wedding (with or without crutches) And a pair of sparkly high heeled sandals for when I'm fully recovered :happydance: :woot:

Wow...stunning! Congrats :woohoo:

Thanks, I know I'm jumping the gun in ordering them both because I may not be able to wear the Isla by August but I am making good progress on a daily basis so I live in hope. Worst case scenario I will wear my pink patent and satin ballet flats that got me into this bother in the first place :giggles:
I'll be able to wear these two at some stage :smile1:

I'd have DH push me in a wheel chair :graucho:

Ok, the wedding is next week and last night I wore heels for the first time since I broke my leg. I wore the Isla Light Bronze Lamé Glitter which have a kitten heel. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1440323976.797619.jpg
Initially my foot and leg hurt so much that I took them off in despair, but I tried them on again and walked around in them and thankfully my ligaments/tendons/muscles eased enough for me to wear them when I went out. I took a pair of Mulberry flat sandals just in case and I changed into those around 11:30pm because our taxi wasn't booked till 1:30am and we were going into a very very busy bar which was standing room only.
It felt so wonderful to be able to wear gorgeous heels again :yahoo:
