Hi Ladies,
I'm wanting to make another Gucci purchase but I'm not sure which bag to get next. I am deciding between the following two - please could you help me choose! Pros and cons of both would be much appreciated :biggrin:
Or should I scrap both and go for the Marmont? I am really confused by all the gorgeous bags Gucci has at the moment!

If you don't have a black bag, I'd choose the all leather padlock. It's very sophisticated and and versatile.

Top is little more casual. I shied away from that kind of combo but it looks way better when you try it on. Black if course goes with anything. However if you are wearing all it mostly black the first would be better. What purpose are you hoping to use it for?

Thank you all for your responses! It seems most are leaning to the all black, although I do already have a black Sylvie.
@xkneehighz I am wanting it for more casual wear during the summer - with white jeans, t-shirt and mirrored sunglasses (which will most probably be my uniform once the weather here gets better!).
I was leaning towards the first one but I think I may have a look at the Marmonts again. @Bijouxlady which one do you have and in what colour?

Both are gorgeous but I'd go with the first one. If you already have an all leather black bag and looking fir something a bit more casual then the first bag is perfect!

Have you tried them both in store? I think that will help you make a decision. Do post when you decide which one to go for.

The marmont is also a nice bag and more popular but don't go with it just because it's a more popular bag. Go for THE one that makes your heart ❤️ skip a beat :)

I prefer the first one, I think it's gorgeous! It's a casual chic bag and not as boring as the plain black one. But on the other hand, I don't use black bags so maybe I'm biased. [emoji5]

I had same struggle between Padlock GG Supreme shoulder bag...black or combo. Ultimately, I didn't get either but now that I re-think. Black is a safe choice whereas the combo is different and a bit more casual. The combo is better for everyday look that you're going for. You must have many other blacks. Go for the combo!

Both of these Padlock bags are gorgeous (and I would be happy to own either one!). But since you already have the Sylvie in black leather and you're looking for more casual wear, the leather with canvas seems perfect.
The Marmont flap is a great option if you like a more prominent chain or if you want a soft, cross body style.
