Hello,

I'm thinking about getting a new bag when I'm going to Paris in a few weeks. I'm currently debating on getting the LV Alma BB in Epi in the colour indigo or the mini marmont flap in leather in black I assume (I only see pink or black in their website).

Which one would you guys pick?

I'm looking for an everyday bag. Currently I mainly use my Chanel flap m/l in caviar.

Things I want to carry around are: iphone, chanel cardholder, powerbank, iphone charger, keyholder, chapstick and most preferably a small book.

I don't have the marmont mini flap but I love the look of it. I have an Alma BB in Epi and there are some downsides to this bag, it doesn't really fit that much (I don't think you will be able to fit a book in there, maybe if you only had the book, phone, cardholder, but even then it'll be very hard to get stuff in and out), and over time if you use the shoulder strap a lot, your bag will also become a bit disfigured. That being said, the Alma is a classic style that has proven itself to be timeless. The BB size is also super cute and versatile for any age - you can dress it up or down. I've worn my rose ballerine BB to a wedding and it looks super nice, and on weekends I can also take it to run errands.

Hi! I love the look of the Gucci Marmont Flap. I just think it would be so versatile to wear (ex. shoulder, crossbody) and pair with outfits. It’s a fun, almost classic looking piece. However, I’m not so sure if the design would keep its value and actually become a classic. On the other hand, the LV alma bb is cute, and probably more well-made, but more “serious” looking I feel!

Hi! As much as I love Gucci I have to admit I would choose the LV alma bb because it’s such a cute bag! And you could also make it more casual by changing the crossbody strap to make it more fun (I personally think it would look gorgeous with a dolce & gabbana tile printed strap). Happy choosing!
