Anniversary is coming up and I am evenly split between getting the yg guilloche or the yg mini pave frivole earrings. Does anyone have both and prefer one over the other? Or do you own one and have insight to pros/cons? Thanks in advance!

I don't own the mini frivole earrings but have tried them on. I find them too small on me (I would say I have "regular" sized lobe, not too petite or big), whereas I love the small Frivole earrings so perhaps an alternative you can consider. YG guilloche earrings were my first VCA purchase, and still love them! I would say if possible, try them all on and pick the one that your heart sings to. The "image" you may have in your mind may be wholly different when physically trying them on.
I have both. They serve different purposes for me. The mini pave frivole are more subtle and I am comfortable wearing them casually, to the office etc, whereas I mostly use the guilloche for going out to eat or occasions. The guilloche are also heavier. It doesn’t bother me, but the difference is noticeable.
I have the WG guilloche, the mini frivole in pave and also polished gold. Recently I tried on the YG pave small frivoles to see how comfortable they were. The minis are very mini and I wear them together like a pair of ear climbers. They are very light and comfortable but unless your lobes are small, I don't know how much presence they have alone. The small pave frivoles are definitely a show stopper and I find much more comfortable than the guilloche which I also find heavy. If you are sensitive to weight, I would definitely go with the small pave frivoles. My sister who is not into jewelry at all was also wowed by them. I also think both serve different purposes in your jewelry collection depending upon the pieces you already own.
Have you ever tried on both small and mini Frivole earrings to compare? I personally find the proportions of the small Frivole to be more pleasing than the pave mini. I have the small Frivole in both WG mirror and RG sapphire pave and feel they pack a big punch without being heavy or uncomfortable. If you love them, go with your own preferences of course, but just my two cents.
Even if they don’t have the exact metal you prefer in stock, it would probably help to try them on in the boutique to get an idea of what you like.
The guilloche are very pretty also. My friend has them, and they look great on her. There might be room for both Frivole and Alhambra earrings in your collection eventually!
