Hi Everyone! I’m looking to purchase a three stone ring to represent my family (me, my husband and my son). These are the two choices I’ve narrowed down to.

The round one is from Tiffany with round side stones

The oval one is with a .50ct H IF diamond with pear side stones

I don’t mind the diamonds being small as I will be wearing this ring on my right hand and I wear my engagement set all the time on my left hand. So subtle would work well.

Thanks so much in advance! I would greatly appreciate it if you can give me some feedback. ❤️

Very sweet of you to get a ring to represent your family!

I like the round one. It gives a more cute, comfortable feel. It's probably a matter of personal preference, but the round one feels a little softer, more close with the other 2 diamonds, and more evenly distributed in size, like a close knit family.

Not saying the oval one is bad or not good looking. It is just a little more edgy to me, more of a statement between the two rings.
The oval one makes the oval diamond the center piece, and the smaller 2 diamonds on the side are more like accents, supporting the big diamond in the center.

Just my initial impression when seeing the rings. Please don't take me too seriously haha.

Good luck and happy shopping!

I agree with round. Scale is more appealing. Congratulations!

Thank you! Those are some good points that you mentioned. I do like the fact the design is subtle but still will hold a special meaning for me.

Thank you!

Love the oval , but in general I am not such a fan of 3 stones of similar size bec i feel they compete with one another

Thank you! It’s so hard for me because I’ve always loved and wanted an oval shaped diamond! I agree that I don’t like the stones to compete with one another. The sizes in the round one are very subtle, whereas, the oval would make a bigger impact. I want something that will not take away from my engagement ring.

I’m going to differ and say go with the oval with pears. The round stones are too close in size and as a right hand ring you can be less traditional. I have a three stone right hand ring and the centre stone stands out much more than the side stones and I love it. Go with your heart.

Thanks so much for your feedback. I’m going to go try on the rings in the next two weeks and see which one I like.

Me either. I had a 3 stone ring in yg and I just didn't like it at all. I finally was able to upgrade and got the ring that I wanted. However, between the 2 rings, I do like the Oval one better. It's different

LOVE this. The other two are very traditional engagement (to me).

Thanks so much to the both of you for your feedback!! I’ve found the center stonel. I’m now deciding between two oval sides stones or to stay with the two pear side stones. What do you guys think?
