Please help me choose between two bags

I am really struggling between these two. They are so different, the YSL bag I know I will use alot although she is super tiny. Big plus that there is the option of a shoulder strap. It's also really timeless.

The Chanel bag is so cool, but not so easy to use as the YSL. I will be getting her for the same price as the YSL (1500usd), and I think the Chanel is worth more than what I am paying for it and will also increase in value. I already have two Chanel bags, black and beige medium flaps, so I feel like it is time for me to be a bit more playful in my next Chanel purchase.

If, in addition, you want a fun faux fur bag, Kurt Geiger is having a sale with several ff Kensington flaps for very agreeable prices. I'd go for one rather than the C.

Wow these are two very different bags! Which one fills a gap in your current closet? If practicality is not critical, I am digging the Chanel! I know this is controversial but I actually think the Chanel is more "timeless"... I kind of feel like the YSL Du Jour is a dated style because the model was much more popular a few years ago and is now not as much. In 5 years it will probably be seen the same way as the Chyc or Baby Duffel. Just my humble opinion... get whichever one makes your heart sing.
