Please help me choose a watch! Pícs inside

Hey ladies,

I wear all gold jewelry (heavy gold wedding band, rings with colored smallish gemstones -nothing bling bling)

Which watch would you choose? I like the silver one better but will it look wierd with all gold jewelry?

Are gold watches tacky?

First, if you like the silver one better then that's the one you should get. Personally, I would get both of them, if you can swing it, this way you can switch off. Of the two though, I prefer the gold one.

Second, gold watches aren't tacky at all, in fact they're quite popular at the moment. In my opinion, they're timeless and classic.

Lastly, there's no faux pas when it comes to mixing metals. If you absolutely hate the look then don't do it but I see it everyday. In fact, I wear my gold watch with my platinum e-rings quite often, and it looks good.

I'm a fan of the gold! I think I'm tired of the whole stainless steel silver look. And yeah, I own a few, of course, but I rarely wear them, and often look to my gold metal watches. On the OTHER hand, if there is a Fossil Outlet you can visit...get both!

Well, if you're just going for looks, I think either of them is great. I personally don't think gold is tacky and in fact seems to be on trend this summer and for the next while.

I did note that they're the same price, but the silver one is a chronograph with a stopwatch function. If you care about that at all, then the silver might be a better buy.
