I have decided to upgrade my diamond ring (not the center stone). Need some expert opinion from sophisticated ladies with fashionable taste. The choices are:

1. Flush Fit with 0.27 ctw diamonds, band tpaer from 2.6mm to 2 mm
2. 3-Sided Diamond with 0.48 ctw, taper from 4mm to 2mm
3. Allego in D, 0.26 ctw dimonds with shared prong
4. Harmony paved diamonds 0.50 ctw, 2.3mm band width
5. Sarah's Surprise, 0.27 ctw

Please comment on style and comfort.

Note that the stones shown in the photos are not mine. They look like about 1 carat or less.

Congratulations on your upgrade! What kind of setting do you have now?

The harmony is one of my fav ring designs but it all depends on how much bling you want. Sarah's surprise is also very lovely. Not sure about comfort...I have a single row pave ring that is very comfortable, though.

My current setting is similar to the Flush FIT. I guess it is an old style, but it brings out the center stone with its rows of small diamonds pointing upwards towards the center stone. It is very comfortable, like the single row pave ring. I think row pave rings like the Harmony have been around for some time and have had lots of favorable feedback. Sarah's Surprise, on the other hand, is fairly new. I wonder about its comfort aspect because of the anchor at the base of of the diamond rows.

Thank you for your votes. It seems that there is no clear winner. Both Harmony and Sara's Surprise are neck to neck. I got the same results from my family and friends. What to do?:confused1::shrugs:

Anyone wants to break the tie?

Glad to be a tie-breaker! It depends, of course on YOUR style - you're the one who's going to have it on your finger. Harmony is definitely more clean/modern, but I love Sara's Surprise.

Are you actually going through WF? If so, NONE. Their workmanship is horrible and they don't stand behind their product.

Hmm, interesting remark. You are the ONLY person I have ever heard say something even remotely negative about Whiteflash. 99.9% of the people -you being the exception- that have ever purchased something from them speak very highly of the company and their work. There's always one, I guess.

Anyway, to the OP, I love 'Sarah's Surprise'. I think it's stunning!

That is completely not true. I can assure you I am not the only one. In fact, many FORMER Pricescope members are former members, and not by choice, just because they had a bad experience with major sponsor wf and dared share it on the board. Some remained members because they were willing to apologize publicly for sharing their story. It seems the new ownership of the boards has relaxed that policy, but some of their cheerleaders have failed to see that just because they had a great experience doesn't mean that everyone has. I discussed this a few months back even with RisingSun.

I can never say anything positive about them beyond "they have great diamonds" because platinum rings shouldn't crack and crumble being taken out of the ring box, nor should they crack or crumble from being worn next to another platinum ring for a mere 3 hours without the hand moving or doing anything.

Id love to be one of their happy customers, because then 2 years of my life wouldn't have been wasted with legal drama, and I would actually HAVE my real wedding ring, instead of having to have it sent back the day of my wedding from having a crack already.

ETA:
That all said, the way it was all handled was also not worthy of recommendation. I would like to say that they had gotten better in that time-both in workmanship and customer service, but that would not be true. The fact that within 2 minutes of agreeing that neither of us would speak about the situation they spoke ill of me to someone who forwarded it to, doesn't help either.
