Please help me choose!! 23p Mini vs Backpack

I just ordered a mini with top handle in ecru from 23p, but got offered a dark beige backpack from 23p. If these two were offered to you, what would you pick and why? I love the ecru color, but worried about wear and tear, especially since it's in lambskin. The caviar and darker color will definitely make it easy to maintain, but I’ve never had a backpack, so not sure how I would be able to utilize it. Mini top handle and backpack both have been on my Wishlist, so it is very difficult for me to pick! Unfortunately, not in a situation to get both. To provide a bit more background, my current collection includes black caviar WOC, black caviar M C/F, white caviar S C/F, and small navy lambskin 19. Any insight would be much appreciated!

if you want something in the middle of these two choices, go with the dark beige mini top handle. The ecru is beautiful, but i am afraid of the color transfer. The dark beige in the mini is stunning in person! I just got mine and loving it!

I was in the same dilemma last week, but I picked the caramel backpack for practical reasons. The mini top handle will come back in other colors that are less prone to color transfer. Ecru is a gorgeous shade, but it's not for everyday, so it really depends on your lifestyle and whether you don't mind to have the bag sit on the shelf for eye candy.

Another reason for the backpack is that knowing chanel, caviar leather may only be available in the first release (as with what happened with the top handle mini and other popular items). Subsequent releases may be only in lambskin/calfskin. Nobody really knows.

One other option is to catch what you can now, get the backpack first and try it out around the house, if you love it then keep it. Else exchange for the ecru top handle when and *if* it comes in?

I haven't used it yet! I have a few other caramel bags (19 and coco handle) that are almost the same color and I've never had to worry about matching them to outfits. To me it's a great neutral.

I ended up choosing the backpack!! As soon as I unboxed it, I knew this was the one! Beautiful, neutral color, and suprisingly roomy! Can’t wait to take it out

Very roomy indeed. I love that it can even fit a water bottle and my sunglasses. Can't wait to take it out in warmer weather in the spring. Congrats and enjoy it!
