Please Help! Indentation on new leather bag

Hi everyone - recently I have purchased a leather pouch and I am guessing when it was shipped to me the bag was pressed with the strap which was rolled up, and a ring-shape indentation formed in the front of my pouch Does anyone know if there is any way I can fix it or is this pouch destined for a return as a damaged product? Any advice will be very much appreciated!

Okay, is the indentation in the leather or is there some kind of foam/reinforcement underneath that has been damaged? If it is only in the leather I personally would not return it. It's not like it's an iphone with a scratch on a screen or anything. Leather is a natural material that has memory, but after a while it will forget! You can push your hand against the indentation from the inside and "massage" it to try and loosen the fibers. It will disappear, just takes some time.

I've gotten rid of them with a hair dryer then massaging it with conditioner.
