Hi everyone,
This is a terribly boring request, but I'm getting pretty desperate. I live in New Zealand and I have spent the past two MONTHS trying to find white button down shirts for work. I need women's shirts. Normal shirts. White shirts. Without:
- ruffles
- coloured or unusual fabric (such as silk)
- bibs
- distractingly-fancy designs
- cut-outs or holes
- too-thin see-through fabric
- colourful or metal buttons
- lace
- giant puffy sleeves that wont fit under a jacket
- coloured stripes (or spots)
- odd little collars
This, to me, sounds like a staple item that should be readily available. However, there is virtually nothing out there in white fabric without one of the aforementioned little fashion mishaps which would be cute in a business casual atmosphere, but totally out of place where I work. So far my only score has been an exquisite Versace shirt from an op shop, but one shirt does not a work wardrobe make...
Aside from country road (who are possessed by those awkward little collars at the moment) does anyone know where I can buy very nice, large-collared simple white button down shirts? International shipping is strongly preferred but not an absolute must as I have family in the States.
As the exchange rates are pretty bad, a great sale would go a long way as well.
