Hi my lovelies,

With our 10th wedding anniversary coming up, hubby asked me what I would like in £10k budget!!!!! (this does not happen often, normally the gifts from my hubby are around 1-3 hundreds pounds!). Although it's not all about money, I'm happily accept something half the budget if I love it but hubby kindly reminded me that it's only once in 10 years, choose something I will totally enjoy.

First I was thinking about high-end designers, cartier juste un clue diamond ring, VCA frivole or sweet alhambra or Hermes kelly amulette necklace. But after showing them to hubby, he comment that the diamonds are so itty bitty from these designer brands! and I kind of agree. For this sort of price, I can get a pink diamond ring (which I've been wanting for so long, although don't know where to get from yet) or just a carat flawless colourless diamond ring? Here's my shortlist so far. What do you guys think?

I like the Sweet Alhambra ring because it conjures-up hearts

I also like the diamond JUC - just because it's beautiful and it's one of those pieces that is both statement and classic.

The F 8 flowers would be mine, but it is more statement rather than everyday.

you have a wonderful DH! Happy tenth anniversary!

If this is your dream perfect thing, then go for that!

for the others, IMO, try them on, and you will quickly start to get a sense of whether you want a branded piece bc of its design; a gemstone; both (albeit with smaller carat weight) or neither

we will be so excited for you while you decide , so pls update the thread with glorious pics and your thought process!

Thanks sweetie. The only thing with pink diamond ring is I don't know where to get it from. I've been playing on James Allen website for quite a while but it means hubby will have to order it before I could try it out! I can go around jewelers in London see if there's anything I really like, try on some high-end pieces etc. Thanks for advice.

I like them all! Hubby thinks the sweet alhambra ring looks like a broken clover! lol

Happy anniversary! I see that the pink diamond ring you posted is from auction, it would be good way to shop as the items all have certificates, plus you might be able to try them on before you bit. Otherwise I’ve heard Leibish is a good retailer for colored diamonds, although I have never shopped there personally

Happy anniversary! What a lovely thoughtful gesture by your hubby!

I'd personally go for the diamond ring too. Could you visit Hatton Garden in London or Jewelry Quarter in Birmingham to have a look? It might be difficult to gauge the colour pink online.

Thanks for advice! I've never heard of it. Will look it up.

I do really think I need to see the diamond before buying. Specially for the colour diamond. It is hard to tell from the photo!
