I personally think the bees is too trendy. I don't really get the look. I really like the Gucci totes they just came out with. Simple and functional, and they're cheaper than a lot of the smaller bags:

I like the bees tote. It’s trendy as Gucci added the bees to their classic print, but although that makes it trendy, the GG print is certainly here to stay and I think its a cute version. The bee is also something Gucci has been adding to clothes and bags for years so its kind of synonymous with the brand in my opinion. I personally have many pieces that have bees present. I think some of the other prints and designs will come and go much faster, but the bees are recognized more so with the logo. It’s a very pretty bag. Another suggestion if you wanted to stick with strictly the GG logo but did not go the tote route...Gucci came out with a few beautiful messenger bags. They are beautiful but certainly not a tote. There is one brand new version on the Gucci website and there are two versions in the men’s section under messenger bags. Price range is at your high end or a little above depending on the style. No offense to Gucci, but if you are looking for Canvas, I would buy an LV Neverfull over the above options. Some may say it’s so popular that it’s considered “basic” by many, but it’s still an awesome bag.
