I've never bought a D&B handbag but I've recently started being drawn to the bags in Florentine leather. It looks so scrumptious.

After a looooooooot of deliberation, I'm seriously considering a Florentine satchel in Oyster.

I wanted to get feedback on the quality and wear of these bags. Does the D&B brand stand behind their bags? Does this bag hold its shape or start slumping? Does the leather wear well over time? Any other thoughts, opinions and insights on the bag and brand are also appreciated!

I had 2 of these but sold my fuschia one. The bag didn't keep it's shape the way I like it. They are gorgeous and I got many complements but they are also very heavy. My second one (ostrich texture) kept it's shape better and I still wear it accasionally

I adore my Florentine, but I have the small size. It's perfect, and the leather is gorgeous. I don't find it heavy, but I don't have the large size, and I haven't noticed any sagging or it being misshapen.

I found mine for $150 at TJ Maxx and saw a couple on sale at Nordstrom for $210. You may want to try those places before buying brand new if you're gun shy. I have no complaints.

UPDATE: I ordered the bag! I originally saw it on Sunday at a Dooney outlet while I was traveling but didn't purchase it. It was on sale for $198.

Based on your recommendations and my growing angst at having left her there. (notice she went from an "it" to a "her") I called and purchased her.

AND... The price had dropped to $159!!

Whoo-hoo! 😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀
