Sorry I left out the text. I think the box is cute closed but don't understand the leather interior pouch when open. What would you put in there?

I think I am having trouble visualizing the inside. That leather looks like a pouch to me of some kind? And I a not sure how it stays securely shut. I think it's so cute but need to understand it it a bit more to buy online.
