It's been a while since styles like Daffodile and Lady Peep have kind of gone out of sight. I see people wearing platforms, but they are different, more military style, so to speak. Please correct me if I'm wrong, but I've got this impression, and hence I'm wondering... What have you, ladies, done with your Highnesses, Victorias and Biancas?.. Have you sold them or are you keeping them for a future come-back or are you just still wearing them (I haven't seen anyone wear such styles in a while)?
I really miss my Lady Peeps and I think Daffodiles were sooo flattering for the body...
What do you think?

I'm not a lady, but I did sell ladies shoes at NM for a bit years ago. I say wear whatever you want/miss/believe is out of style. I think having on what you enjoy most is much more important than worrying what others think is "in style" or not. Styles go in cycles, yes, but it is fun to not give a care in the world about them in my opinion.

For example, me, I wear sweatpants with my Louboutin sneakers LOL. Why? Because they're both comfy and I don't care what others think about it.

I totally agree with you on that!
But I'm still curious whether the platform+stiletto style will come back and what people think about that.
And I apologize for assuming ladies only.
Gentlemen, of course, as well!

I still wear my Lady Peeps Greta...though not as much as I used to.
Now that its winter, my peep toes are mostly asleep though until spring.
I really should wear my Daffs and Highnesses more...

I sold my Dafs and purchased the Kate 100mm. I think the platform look is still styish, but every time I wore the Dafs, I felt like my feet looked huge. The single sole look is currently more in style, as is the clear PVC straps and lucite heels.

I did the same, but mainly because my husband never liked huge platforms, and when the trend ended it didn't make sense for me to keep insisting on wearing them, although, I do still love the look.
Do you think PVCs will stay trending for a while longer or are they about to end, too?

PVCs are on their way out. Louboutin and others had them 2 seasons ago. They've filtered down to the mid/entry level brands this year (Steve Madden, etc.). Another season or two and they're done.

I thought so, too, but then haven't Gianvito Rossi's Plexi heels been popular long before Louboutin came up with his Picks and Nosies?

Yes. I have a pair of Stuart Weizman shoe that are clear lucite, with pvc straps and a metal heel. got them when I was barely starting college so, it's been a few years. They still look amazing.

fashion is recycled so it is only a matter of time until Louboutin will resume creating super high platform styles. those styles were so appealing to me because they looked so sexy from the back! i am holding onto my Madame Butterfly Booties probably forever since at one point they were my holy grail shoes. although, i have to admit that i struggle with walking in platforms -i can power walk in 120mm single sole shoes!

other fashion houses have consistently churned out high platforms (YSL, Charlotte Olympia, Gucci, etc.), so i don't think this trend will ever totally be out.

I personally always thought feet looked giant in these platform heels but in a weird way, since I never purchased them originally when they were in style years ago, I want to stock up on these now. I do wonder if they'll come back in style, especially the booties. The daf booty seems to still be relevant but I could be wrong. I definitely don't ever see anyone wearing these styles anymore, though I hardly ever see Louboutins at all, they just aren't super common in my area.
