Plastic cover on bag handles???

So someone posted this on one of the LV FB pages. Someone mentioned not seeing plastic covers on bag handles and I, myself, have not seen an LV with a plastic cover as well. When asked, someone mentioned seeing their CA unwrap the plastic that came from the back and was not a display??? Thoughts?

I believe they come to the boutiques wrapped and the SA would unwrap it. I wouldn't be concerned if it came from the boutique or from the distribution center that way. I did have one bag that came from Ontario, California and the chain was in plastic. Also bought a bag in person at the boutique and the SA went in the back to get a fresh one and the strap was in a plastic bag.

This means it is a fresh bag, not a return, display just a new bag.
