Planning on buying my first luxury bag

I'm saving up for my first luxury handbag to buy in the summer.

I'm trying to decide between the Gucci SoHo Disco in black and the LV Speedy B 25 in damier ebene.

I was deadset on the Gucci because I currently have a Kate Spade Lelie, which is similar, so I know I would get a ton of use out of the Gucci.

However, the Speedy B 25 has really caught my eye recently.

What would you choose?

if you have something similar to the soho, maybe buy the lv one? otherwise maybe you will not use your ks anymore

Start with speedy b. Different than what you have and a classic. Disco is great too but I’d get that next.

I’d go for the speedy first. And buy new especially if this is your first. A good condition speedy is not much cheaper preloved.

I vote Speedy. I bought a speedy 25B last year and absolutely love it. If you do get one be sure to get a Samorga organizer for it, it maintains the structure and helps you stay organized.

I would also vote for the Speedy but then I love satchels with top handles, especially for an everyday bag. Have you tried it on? Sometimes, trying on a bag and walking around with it for a bit really helps finalize my decision if I am on the fence about which one to get.

I have not tried it on yet! Maybe I will soon!

After all of these replies, I think I’m going to end up getting the Speedy!

I would definitely recommend trying it on before you finalize your decision. And get the bag you love more and will use more.
