Hello, I'm delighted to say that my husband took me into Tiffanys & got me the pink sapphire & diamond shared setting celebration ring (I think 3mm, sorry am still dazed LOL).

I've long admired this ring & went with my heart. My only worry is that I have sons no daughter. Does the colour of stones in an eternity ring matter?

Also I plan to wear this ring on my right hand, is this ok?

Thanks in advance for your opinions/advice.

I don't think the color of your eternity band should be dictated by the sex of your children! Wear the colors you like (and on the finger you like it on)!

OH Yes!!!

Congrats on the new ring! I don't think it should be blue just bc you have boys! It's YOUR ring, not theirs!!!

I love pink and have all boys!

Pink is the color for boys in Europe!

And don't rule out "daughters-in-law".....although I wouldn't be giving my jewelry away too quickly!!! Enjoy......there's plenty of time to give it away later on........when you're 99!

I've always drool over Tiffany pink sapphire shared setting ring, but I have settled for a Tiffany half circle blue sapphire shared setting ring as the pink color doesn't go well with my skin. I have no kids yet, by the way. It doesn't matter if you don't have any daughter. It's whatever you like. I wear my blue sapphire ring on my ring finger (as a wedding band) sometimes as well as on my right hand. Please post pictures!!
