Pigalles or Kate shoes? Let's talk!

On my vision board for the last so many years, I have always envisioned pigalles as my first pair of louboutins! Every time I visit Selfridges, I always try on Pigalles even though at that time I could never afford it lol.

However, recently I have fallen in love with the Kate (not so kate!) shoes! And I was surprised I couldn't find many reviews/discussions/talks/youtube videos on these Kate shoes. Everyone raves about the "So Kate" shoes which are uncomfortable but the Kate shoes are remarkably comfortable in 100mm, a lot more pointier than the pigalles and has the most beautiful heel! I am seriously considering purchasing the Kate shoes in nude and black as my first two pairs instead of the pigalles!

I remember when I first tried on the pigalles in size 3.5, I was told to size down so I tried a size 3 and my first thought was (because I have petite feet) there isn't enough product around my foot lol!

But with the Kate shoes, it's just the opposite. It has a beautiful front and more coverage than the pigalles.

What do you guys think? Is there anyone here who has purchased the Kate shoes? What are your reviews girls? Pigalles or Kate??

I’ve been looking at Kate 100 vs Pigalle 100 lately too! I still love my So Kates but sometimes the 120 pitch is a bit too much. Between those two I do like the thicker heel and shorter toe box of the Pigalle, so personally I’m leaning towards that for a change since I already have many pairs of So Kates . But seriously you can’t go wrong with either, and sounds like Kate 100 is the one that your heart is after.

This is a great thread!…..I too constantly go back and forth between the pigalle follies and the kate(100 aka décolleté 554)…..I own both and love them both and often times cannot make up my mind as to which one to wear….I personally find the Kate’s more comfortable than the follies…or at least fit my foot shape better…..but I like both looks………oh just re read your openning post, and you were comparing the pigalle vs. Kate’s…..oh well…..I’m more having a dilema over the pigalle follies vs Kate’s….

For me, Pigalles are more sexy than Kate, toe cleavage is much more atractive for those Who like this style.

You've made good choices with the Kate 100 in nude and the Pigalle 100 in black. If you were still interested in other discussion about the Kate 100, they were previously called the Decollete 554. I happen to have a pair in white python and it's one of my favorites.
