My SA left VCA last October, shortly after I received my HP from her ♥️. I was under the impression she may return after taking some time off, but after speaking to VCA today, it appears that is not the case 😔.

She was aware of my interest for both RC and Pietersite. I was hoping this summer I would be offered one of the two by her, but now that she is gone, I’m unsure of how to go about this request?

I do not have a VCA in my state. My relation with her began with the e-Boutique…she eventually went to a physical boutique, so I continued to purchase with her from there, over the phone.

I will be traveling at the end of this month and plan on visiting a VCA boutique. Would it be inappropriate to inquire about RC and/or Pietersite with someone who is not my SA?

My birthday is in August - this year I’m feeling a bit down without my SA. For the past few years, she always made my birthdays feel extra special, while making my VCA dreams come true.

If your SA also left VCA at any point, I would love to hear how you navigated your journey afterward ♥️.

Sorry to hear your SA left. Unfortunately, the "offer" pieces like pietersite and rock crystal are usually considered a reward for boutique-level loyalty; there is zero incentive for a store to sell one of the limited number they receive to a walk-in when they could use the same piece to satisfy their own clients' wishlists.

I was recently at another VCA boutique (not my "home" store) trying to beat the increase and ended up spending over $20k with an SA I'd never used before. She was polite, but when I mentioned pietersite was on my wishlist (after purchasing) she shot me down immediately, "Oh no, we haven't seen that in a long time." She didn't even bother pretending that I had a shot or that she'd "keep that in mind" 😆

Totally understandable, it's tough losing a great SA. It’s absolutely fine to mention your interest in RC or Pietersite to someone new; most associates love continuing that special experience. Hope your next visit feels just as meaningful! 💕

Hi my SA left but came back after 6 months so cannot really tell you how to continue for a longtime. Has a replacement SA which didn’t help me to get any LE or SO nor MTO so happy my SA came back !
That being said: I wouldn’t think that changes completely your chance to get something LE if this was supposed to happen as I also really understand this is reserved to loyal clients to a boutique. I would then not change your home boutique. I wouldn’t think they could make this happen for a birthday as they have to receive it from the manufactory at the right time which would be difficult. I heard somewhere here on the forum that pietersite won’t be produced anymore so I would try my chance and talk to them about it.

My original SA left VCA unexpectedly, and no one said anything to me at the time. I figured it out when my last couple of texts over a few weeks were unread, so I called the boutique to find he no longer worked there. If I didn't love the brand and the collection I already building so much at that point, it might have been more disappointing to have no follow up, but I moved on and mostly have forgotten it unless something like this thread calls it to mind.

However, there was a happy ending. I live in a city with more than one boutique, and the other one that I had not shopped at back then (because my prior SA who had left was at the less-convenient location) was actually closer to me. I got a referral from a friend to her SA and have been shopping with the new-to-me SA at the more convenient boutique ever since. She has been great--inviting me to events, helping me find what I am looking for, etc.

While you don't have a boutique locally, how about visiting one in a city you are traveling to sometime soon? If you meet a SA there who seems helpful, then you can stay in touch with them and shop remotely thereafter.

About rock crystal, I expressed interest in a bracelet recently. It sounded like this is a fairly tough request, but we shall see if anything comes of it.

I hope that you are able to connect with a helpful SA soon and find the special pieces you are hoping for!

Thank you everyone for your valuable insight.

I was able to connect with the boutique’s manager, who assured me I will be taken care of. She assisted me with a purchase this year, and just connected me with another advisor who will be more responsive than she is able to be.

She also noted my interest in RC and Pietersite, so I am hopeful it is possible sooner or later for me.

Still planning on visiting a boutique while traveling :smile:.
