i have the steel w/ silver besace and it doesn't feel any heavier than my old messengers. but it has less hardware than some of the other styles.

your comparison pics of black and steele are on the dot! But u are also correct to point out that from afar plomb can be mistaken for black....
I love all three bbags featured. I saw the mastic in real life and loved the golden neutral tone it had! It was quite a beauty. Too bad it is too light in color for my lifestyle.
