Picture hat, anyone else obsessed?

Here is some pictures of my hat "Chapeau funk toile" 60034430 091015N

It is made of cotton, deer skin and with linen lining.

The fabric has got an amazingly good quality, which I discovered when walking in a wood where the hat was scrached by an old very dirty branch. :hysteric: The hat got green, brown and black spots. I was sad. DH was sad for me. On my way home I thought of how to clean it and if it ever would get well again. At home I first used a clothes roller and nearly all spots disappeared! Just a little green spot remained. On that one I used a clothes brush and now the hat is free from every spot!

I found this thread from Oct 2008! http://forum.purseblog.com/hermes/hermes-hats-371627.html I don't know which one to use, so I'm posting in both!

It's suede, it's goatskin...It's fantastic! :nuts: I actually tried it on last weekend at Hermes and it is even better IRL.

But I do not need a $1000 hat! :lol: (I'm saving for a bag in December.:tender:)

Just wondering if anyone else out there is obsessed with this hat or H hats in general?

I want it too--i love Hermes hats and have one fabulous fedora already. I want this and the boots!:nuts:

I started to like 'em after seeing TPF H ladies rockin' them!! (Holsby & Diva999!)

Crochetbella - Don't lose hope! It just may go on sale. I bought one very simillar to that one - also in suede goatskin - at my local H sale last year. It was a JPG designed hat and ran about $900 at full retail. I got it 60% off - still a lot for a hat IMHO.:smile:

Actually, the H sales here are usually wonderful for hats. In addition to the above, I bought two more! One is a denim-like fabric with the hat band and the rim trimmed in the softest white lamb leather. So beautiful!:love:

I love my H hats!

Holsby!!! This hat was made for you!!! All the pictures are great but the one in w/ the trench coat...:nuts:.....oh la la - you look like a ultra chic super spy!!!

Thank you Sin V, I am definitely going to keep an eye out for it at the next sale! :nuts:

Calico, I am thinking Paris-Bombay (because it totally reminds me of a dachshund :heart:) or maaaybe a Kelly (I'd love to get one in a casual leather like togo or epsom so I can have a dressy Kelly and a casual Kelly.)
