I'm intrested in design and architecture, and it would be great to see some pics of your local Gucci store around the world. Hmm.. Which one is the most stylish?? Let's start a new thread!

We can start with my local store, in Oslo - Norway. Located in the city center, over two floors in a classical beautiful old building. Here's a evening pic:

Brilliant idea for a thread!

Here are mine in London, I'm allowed 2 because I buy at both

Sloane St is sleeker and has a 60 metres wide frontage, huge separate depts for everything and has multiple levels with mezzanines and amazing stair cases. It feels totally luxurious and very Modern Italian and I think represents post 1970s Gucci excellently.

Bond St is more traditional (and beautiful to my eyes) and is 3 floors deep. They also own the building across the road behind YSL (now being refurbished) that is Gucci HQ in London and CS. It represents Gucci's early heritage and an understanding of conservation as well as 'progress'.

I visited the Sloane store last year, and bought a bag there. The selection of items was Amazing, and the service was excellent! I liked the stylish interior better than the fasade though ;) I will definitively pay them a visit again on my next London trip in september. The Old Bond street store looks very classy.

Sorry, but deleted the pic in my first post. Here is the Oslo store. A two floor store, located in a luxury shopping area with neighbours like Hermes, Bottega Veneta, Michael Kors, Marc Jacobs, Louis Vuitton, Mulberry and Burberry.

Here are some additional Gucci stores in my state. But they are too far away from me to visit. lol

PS-again, I did not took these pics. :P

I didn't take these pictures. This is the one closest to me it's in a mall which takes about 35 mins to get to:

This one is in Toronto on Bloor Street which is the next closest to me about 5 hours drive away:

Here is another local Gucci store in Beverly Center mall. It actually the closest store from me. This is the only Gucci store I have set foot in from 5 years in my state area. This store had a facade facelift. Because it look way different from before I set foot inside. :P

-Of the pics I have seen so far, my top 3 are:

1. Beverly Hills. -Clean, strict simple lines. Very modern. Looks like a small temple.
2. Oslo. -Precious, classic fasade with symmetric windows and lightning. Stylish in the evening.
3. Bond Street. -Classic building. The Gucci logo is very successfully integrated in the beautiful details.

other stores where I us to buy my stuff..
Gucci Hong Kong and Gucci Geneva.. quite a different style uh?

In Glasgow we don't have a 'stand alone' Gucci store, but they do have a (very good!) concession inside House of Fraser (department store).

The first pic is of House of Fraser, the second is of some of Gucci's windows around Christmas time, and the third is of the inside of the store.

Note: I did not take any of these pics - all found on Google Images
