I know you've all seen this before, but here it is again. I bought it when I got my 30% off coupon but was saving until after the new year, because I'm like that. Just took it out last night to put all my stuff in it and added my new feather key chain fob, which I love on it.

What is the loop on the side for in the second picture? Just decoration?

Also, notice the little card that came with it says, "The tough functionality of textured leather is mixed up with the fragility of metal feathers and Coach's signature hangtag." Makes me think it should've come with the feathers...

After looking at the link that Whateve posted, perhaps it's just the taller Tatum totes that came with the feather - both of them online have it in the photo, but the shorter style does not. In which case they should have updated their literature that came with the bag! So as not to get all of our feather-loving hopes up - I'd wonder where my feather was after reading that card, too! :smile1:

Bet you're right, but yeah, they need to update their literature!

I am late in answering but I had this bag in another color and it did not come with feathers. I also have the large tooled Tatum tote and it did come with feathers. Based on what I have seen it is the larger bags that had the feathers. My tooled Tatum cost several hundred more than this bag so I don't know if that is part of the decision to put feathers on some and not others. In my opinion, your black one is beautiful so congratulations on a good buy. The loop on the side on mine is strictly for decoration to give the bag some individuality. You'll enjoy carrying it!
