What was supposed to be a hardworking weekend of hit-making in Las Vegas has turned into a club-hopping non-stop party in New York City.

That's right, folks, after just one day of "working" on her album in Sin City, Britney Spears is in NYC for what's sure to be another rousing sampling of the city's club scene.

Looking at trashtastic as ever in a satin blazer accessorized with red jewelry and matching lipstick, Brit-Brit began here eve by hitting up the From Russia With Love 2007 Fashion Show held at the Roseland Ballroom. The pop princess stayed mum when photogs pressed to find out her plans while in the Big Apple.

Of Course the kids were left at home with their team of nannies. I have some very cute pics of Sean coming .... But he looks so sad and lost. :confused1:

I agree. She looks alittle better here. But, I really think she needs to hire a new stylist - what's with her hair lately??? She really is a very pretty girl she's just making bad choices.

She looks a bit better..but she still needs a stylist..her hair is a mess..loving the dark color on her though..
and her dark colored lipsticks don't seem to stay on her well or something :| maybe she just doesn't refix it.

I don't think she looks better, neither I think she's pretty. I think she could be pretty if only she hired a good stylist and listened to him. She looks really trashy and I'm only sorry for her, because her career is going to an end if she won't change something. She should stick with her kids, work more and forget about the clubs.

OMG! What a poor little thing. He's such a cutie, but he needs his mommy to be with him more time. I don't get it, why can she leave such a sweatheart that often. I find it hard to go out without my daughter even for a few hours, so I usually take her everywhere with me and I can't imagine to leave her every night and go to a party.

Britney Spears doesn't miss being married.

When asked in New York on Friday how she likes being single, the pop star, who filed for divorce from Kevin Federline on Nov. 7, told PEOPLE: "It's awesome."

Spears grabbed the spotlight Friday while at the fashion show for Baby Phat by Kimora Lee Simmons and KLS Collection Fall 2007, which was held at the Roseland Ballroom in conjunction with Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week.

Wearing a slinky black spaghetti-strapped dress and black peek-a-boo pumps, Spears posed for photographers upon her arrival, and was escorted to her front-row seat just moments before the show started.

As the models strutted on an elevated stage wearing sexy tweed outfits, double-breasted winter coats and big fur hats for the show entitled "From Russia with Love," Spears chatted at times with her assistant. She applauded with the rest of the crowd when model Alek Wek flaunted a colorful halter dress that dragged on the floor in the back but was a mini-dress in the front. "Oh my god," said Spears.

After the show, Spears told PEOPLE of the collection: "It was amazing."

Kimora Lee Simmons, who was backstage after the show, said of Spears: "Sometimes she gets a hard rap...[But] she is a very talented girl."
