I've been loving Sea Mist online(it's my favorite color, I even have a custom-order Breitling in that shade, lol) but when I went into the store today, I was unsure...

I think I expected a slightly bolder color. I went in looking for the Preston but did not like the huge structure of the bag or the way the small handles stuck up. So the saleslady brought out a Phoebe which had a nice form to it.

Just not sure if I want to keep her or not. The leather is lovely, and I didn't like anything else in the Sea Mist but want a piece in this color... I'm so uncertain!

That's sea mist? I'm with you on a bolder shade. Maybe it's the picture (I'm sure it is) but it doesn't look sea mist like the Preston pics I've seen. Still very pretty though!

I also ordered the Sea Mist sight unseen from JAX and from the cute shots of the small Preston, I thought it was much deeper. It is very beautiful, but I returned it and thought I would wait to see more colors . I noticed the newer colors are more matte like the Tan. They seem to be using a different leather too. Both are lovely , but I love the sheen. Good luck deciding!

I think sea mist Madison is generally lighter than sea mist Bleecker or Preston. My Madison wallet is much lighter than my mini Preston. I have the Bleecker daily bag on the way and will compare. Want the Madison hobo in sea mist but not if it will be too light. The Preston color is beautiful.

She actually had all the Sea Mist bags lined up and the colors were all the same from bag to bag (the wallets were lighter though). I love the pebbled leather of the Preston but the bag itself was just way too structured and awkward.

I think I may end up returning it. The color looks too much like a faded afterthought than an intentional shade of light blue (if that makes sense).

I know what you mean...I'm not in love with the larger Preston on me, I can't pull it off like others can. I bought the mini, though, because I loved the color so much. Hoping the Daily is more saturated.

Sorry, I meant to say I don't love it on the Phoebe! I have not seen it on the Hobo.
