First pair of earrings!

Few questions I didn't think of until after leaving the boutique..do the style numbers on jewelry not have the season code like on bags, shoes? Also what is the metal of these earrings?

I can tell you that the earrings are not plated; meaning it is not fine jewelry quality and they will wear. They are very pretty but you need to be careful with them. I was told at my Chanel dept store boutique that they take NO returns for jewelry that shows wear-it was to be expected. But none the less, earrings are popular.
