Is this only for black hair? I am hispanic and I have long, thick, wavy hair. Would I be able to do this by myself at home? Would i need Level 1 or 2? Thanks!

no, it's for many hair types (my girlfriend is Jewish with big, curly hair and uses level 2 to get it bone straight). But, I wouldn't suggest doing it at home. you risk possible over-processing (which can make your hair brittle and frail) or even under-processing (you won't yield the results you're aiming for).

Look for a Phyto trained stylist (found on their website or calling around to salons, search for reviews on yelp)

I tried this once. I am caucasian and have thick, curly hair. It did help to relax my hair but it wasn't stick straight. I can't remember what level I used but it was probably 1 since I was new to using it.
