Pharrell's Custom Bape/BBC G-Shocks

Ok, I have to be honest with you guys, I had no idea what G-Shocks were until I read this article. :shame: Apparently they were big back in the day. Although if I had to pick something of Pharrell's to drool over, it would be his ginormous purple birkin!

G-Shock is definitely becoming more popular again, especially due to a strong set of collaborations. That also means that more people run around wearing them and that results in Pharrell having to do something special with his. What he was going to do is obvious, add some bling to the watch.
He actually took some Bape x G-Shock watches and entirely covered them in black diamonds, a pink model and an all black model. One also comes with a Billionaire Boys Club logo on the back.

Oh my, I had a blue Baby G (a smaller version of the G Shock) when I was in middle school (98-99'). I don't know why I *had* to have one, but I did and my parents were really reluctant to get me a $90 watch. But I wore it to death, I think I still have it somewhere.
These look kind of weird though IMO, too sporty of a watch to have crystals on it. :blink:

I remember when G-Shocks were so popular. I loved how they had many different colors of the watch.
